Combined Degree Programs
The combined Bachelor of Science/Master of Science allows qualified students to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree form the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management with 12 credit hours of graduate coursework counting toward both degrees. The two degrees may be earned with a minimum of 138 credit hours for the thesis option (instead of the 150 required if the degree were pursued separately) and 145 credit hours for the non-thesis option (instead of the 157 credit hours if the degrees were pursued separately). Therefore, both degrees can be attained within a five year period, rather than the usual six years.
