Landscape Architecture

Program Info: Landscape architects apply both art and science to achieve the best use of land. A solid foundation in both begins with the Landscape Architecture Program at West Virginia University, Recognized as one of the top 10 programs in the country – and accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board of the American Society of Landscape Architects – the program gives students the opportunity to acquire hand and computer graphic skills, study design theory and site engineering, and apply that knowledge to a series of environmental design projects. Opportunities for service learning, professional internships and study abroad abound.
