Program Info: Construction Management
The primary mission of the Department of Construction Science at Texas A&M University is to prepare students for successful careers and future leadership roles in construction and construction-related industries. The program integrates principles of architecture, technology, engineering, business and project management, preparing students to effectively manage the total construction process.
It is one of the finest programs of construction higher education in the nation. The department’s undergraduate curriculum is serviced by approximately 28 full- and part-time faculty members, 20 of which hold Ph.D. or equivalent degrees. Many of them also have extensive experience in the construction industry.
The close bond between students and teachers is strengthened by faculty involvement in extra-curricular student activities. Faculty advise student professional organizations and coach the various student competition teams.
