Program Info: Architecture

The Architecture Program at SPSU offers a 5-Year Professional degree in Architecture. This is the only 5-Year B. Arch Program in the State of Georgia. The Program is fully accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board [NAAB]. Students upon completion of their professional degree are eligible to take their licensure examination after fulfilling internship requirements.

The Architecture Program at SPSU is committed to be a prominent leader in providing professional architectural education. It fulfills this mission through collaborative and interdisciplinary learning, “hands-on” explorations promoting invention, creativity by blending craft with technology and reasoned with critical thinking, feasibility and constructability. In addition, the knowledge of cultural diversity, history, theory, criticism, urbanism, visual, verbal, virtual and digital communication, professional ethics and practice are inseparable parts of the process of “making architecture”.
