Meteorology (Earth Sciences)

Program Info: Students in the Earth Sciences program can earn degrees in geology, meteorology, and oceanography. Our goal is to provide high-quality undergraduate and graduate degree programs that give a solid foundation for productive professional careers in the Earth Sciences and other career paths that students may follow.

With emphases in geology, meteorology, environmental earth science, and secondary teaching, graduates will be fully prepared for entry level positions in any of these fields that they choose. For example, the course requirements in the meteorology department assure that our graduates meet all the requirements for the certification with the American Meteorology Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association (NWA).
