Program Info: The primary purpose of the Finance Emphasis is to provide students with a thorough foundation in finance, while providing them with the flexibility to prepare for a wide range of future endeavors. Graduates are prepared for careers in financial management of organizations and financial institutions.

The curriculum is consistent with national standards in finance as required for professional certifications such as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certificate in Financial Management (CFM). The emphasis allows students the opportunity to apply financial concepts to real world situations and to interact with professionals in the finance field. Throughout the program of study, students are also taught how to integrate primary financial databases, online services and other relevant software to the field of finance.
