Construction Management
The Construction Management program offers exciting educational experiences that prepare you for a career as a professional constructor. You will receive education and course work in all aspects of construction from planning and scheduling to materials and structures. The program will provide you with theoretical and practical learning experiences in both classroom and laboratory environments. Graduates are competent in planning, scheduling, estimating, project management and many other skills necessary for a construction professional.
The Construction Management program offers flexibility and a variety of options. Your instruction will be by full-time professors who have actual work experience in the field. The department offers small class sizes, which allow for individual attention, as well as modern laboratories for a variety of hands-on experiences. You will gain real-world experience through the department’s cooperative education agreements with industry. Participation in the co-op/internship program, which combines on-campus study with actual work experience off campus, will enhance your education. Students are often offered full-time employment by the partnership company after graduation. The program is fully accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).
