Environmental Science

NRES offers an undergraduate major leading to a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. NRES majors choose one of four concentrations: Fish and Wildlife Conservation, Global Change and Landscape Dynamics, Human Dimensions of the Environment, and Resource Conservation and Restoration Ecology.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) is one of seven departments in the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Formed in 1995, NRES is an interdisciplinary program that brings biological, physical, and social scientists together to teach and discover techniques to improve the health and integrity of urban and natural ecosystems.
