Interior Design
Design at Cornell interweaves three concentrations all of which embrace a strong liberal arts foundation and focus on how the interior and physical product environment design can impact human performance, health and well-being and the planet.
Interior Design combines studies in liberal arts with studio-based project explorations of interior architecture form and function, sustainable materials, and design process and practice issues focused on how interior environments support human potential.
Facility Planning and Management combines studies in liberal arts with strategic planning and management training for large organizations and complex facilities such as corporate offices, healthcare facilities and educational institutions.
Human Factors and Ergonomics combines liberal arts studies with the study of how people interact with their physical and ambient surroundings to affect comfort, well-being, human perception, cognition, and health safety issues.
