Degree Program
The Natural Resources Concentration builds on the basic sciences of the Environmental Science Major by providing students with knowledge of natural resource ecosystems and the management and conservation of these systems. Courses emphasize field experiences in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems and methods of managing these systems for the production of consumptive and non-consumptive goods and services required by society. Courses in the concentration are intended to expose the student to basic concepts of management in forestry, wildlife, fisheries, soil, and water including wetlands and air pollution.
