Boston Architectural College
Landscape Architecture
The Boston Architectural College is on the leading edge of design education offering first professional degrees in the design disciplines of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture. Located in the heart of Boston, MA’s historic Back Bay, students benefit from studying and working in one of the nation’s most vibrant design cities.
The BAC offers both a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture. The core of the BAC experience is concurrency- a belief that design education is best experienced in the classroom and professional workplace simultaneously. This is a unique learning model in which students work as full-time, paid employees of design firms during the day and attend academic courses in the evening. Classes are taught predominantly by practicing design professionals, strengthening the connection between workplace and classroom learning.
Demand for landscape architecture professionals is increasing as issues of sustainable design, global warming and life quality become more prominent. BAC students find themselves well prepared to enter the design professions and address the challenges of the 21 st century.
