Allied health a grouping of college majors that entail the additional, highly specialized, medical fields (other than an “MD”) that are part of a greater medical world. These professions make up the backbone of the medical industry and offer students a way to gradually progress into the many different medical professions that exist. Allied health fields pay well and are always in demand. Don’t just look in your own city for great programs, look nationally and be willing to relocate for the right school.
